Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 26, 2026
Overview
Lifo ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our website at lifo.sh and our open-source software.
Open-Source Software (Lifo Core)
The Lifo runtime (@lifo-sh/core) runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to our servers. Code you execute, files you create, and commands you run stay on your device. We have no access to your code, filesystem, or execution output.
Website (lifo.sh)
When you visit lifo.sh, we may collect:
- Analytics data — page views, referrer, browser type, and country via privacy-focused analytics. No personal identifiers are tracked.
- No cookies — we do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising scripts.
Cloud Services (if applicable)
If we offer cloud-hosted services in the future, they will be governed by separate Terms of Service and a Data Processing Agreement. Cloud services will never affect the privacy guarantees of the open-source runtime, which always runs client-side.
Third-Party Services
Our website may link to third-party services (GitHub, npm). These services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
Data Retention
We retain aggregated, non-personal analytics data for up to 24 months. Since the open-source runtime runs locally, there is no user data for us to retain.
Your Rights
Since we collect minimal data and no personal identifiers through the open-source runtime, there is typically no personal data to access, correct, or delete. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at privacy@lifo.sh.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
